Many of my projects start as an idea, then find an audience and funding on Kickstarter. If you are new to Kickstarter, let me give you a quick lesson on all-or-nothing crowdfunding. The basics are simple. If you like a project (like one of my pin sets), you make a pledge to support the project by visiting the campaign site. Until the campaign ends, you are free to upgrade, downgrade, change or even cancel your pledge. You won’t be charged until the campaign ends, and only then if the project’s funding goal is met. If the campaign fails to hit the goal I’ve chosen, you aren’t charged anything.
